It's so boring on new year so while they're burning fire work I'm sitting on dock and catch some fish ,water a little dirty so my freshly made  jigs work good

Weighted-head jigs. Simple, relatively inexpensive, and harder to snag-up than most lures. Did the Catfish take a jig?
Tired this AM, where I live 3 or more families have good access to all manner of fireworks. Seems like there's a noise competition going-on.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!

Smart lady. Happy new year!
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

Nice crappies--looks like a channel cat or two as well.

Pink w/ white bodies are a great walleye jig, especially in clearish water. Caught a few crappie & yellow perch on them in the past, too.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

Dear Gobi King
If there is a current I will let's the jig flow thought the current and lift when it touch bottom .If no current I just swims it along bottom and jerk it once in a while .When letting the jig go with a current often have slack line and it's easier to detect a strike with mono than with braid in this case

You can do the lazy way too. When there's wave action, and fish(esp. trout)are cruising near the shore, a bobber 'bout 3-4 feet above the jig. Cast, let it sit, then move it every 20 sec. or so.
