I said I would never get another dog after our cockapoo(Honey) passed away at 13 years,best dog ever.Last spring I got the grandchildren 4 chickens & 2 ducks.They didn't want to take them home so we gave the chickens away.We took the ducks to the pond & 1 got taken after 6 months by a predator.We bought 2 more ducks to keep him company 1 mallard lasted a week even after clipping the wings,the peking lasted 1 night We have named the remaining duck Super Duck(wh/blk),he seems to be invincible.He can fly low level pretty fast.I had 11 ducks before we built the house that slowly got taken out by predators.Ducks are fun to watch & have personalities,low maintenance,but easy prey.This guy follows my wife around the pond when she walks.They actually give guilt trips like dogs... He doesn't like to  let her see him eating? Until recently when I went to the pond he would quack at me like "oh, it's just you" Now he comes up to the golf cart & quacks to make sure I see him checking out his empty food bowl until I feed him,pretty smart dude.
