I was removing an old satellite dish off the shop and thought I had the correct tools in hand, a socket and an adjustable prototool's adjustable wrench.

Up the 12' step ladder and discovered none of the tools I had with me would work.

Has anyone ran into this nut before?

Keta

I have never see one, it is most likely a "security" nut.

They're a security nut for lineman purposes. There's a special T socket wrench made to fit them. The concept is not unlike special keyed nuts used on mag wheels.
