Welcome Private Idaho (if you are actually a B-52s fan that almost makes you my age...).  That was a pretty spectacular dinosaur you caught!  And when it comes to modifying Senators, you may regret ever coming to this site (I'M KIDDING).  I say again welcome! - john

I am old enough to be a B-52's fan and since I live in Idaho it seemed like a good handle...maybe I'll make sergeant on day  8)

Newbie here. Just been going through some of my dad's and maybe grandad's old stuff and thinking about getting some of their reels back in action if feasible. Thanks for the great resource!

Yes it does! Very stiff and was just in a bag. Don't remember seeing it used--somehow I ended up with quite a few 60's and 70's rods and 90's and early 2000's reels--this DAM 220n is an exception along with a couple Mithcell 300s.

Looks like a spheros on the left. It's hard to talk about a reel being a tank when it's in the same picture as a dam but I feel like you could practically drive nails with the thing.

Also, welcome aboard.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.
