Seller also said "Old School Quality you can feel"  ;D
No experience with this particular reel, but as others have said in other threads on the forum (and I will attest to) with two early Shimano Baitrunners, service and repair is a "little more involved" than with a garden variety spinner due to the extra functionality/mechanics of the "baitrunner/liveliner" feature.  Not an "avoid at all costs" type of situation but definitely a little more involved and finicky in my experiences. - john

Thanks John
much appreciated , I have cleaned normal spins bait having the bait runner type feature makes me a tad hesitant
I was hopping for a cheaper start bid price 😁

I've done one Baitrunner in my life. That was enough thank you.
You know that moment when your steak is on the grill and you can already feel your mouth watering.
Do vegans feel the same when mowing the lawn?

I love your reply they sound like a deterrent to do yourself and pay someone to service it 😁

I wouldn't touch it with a 20ft clown-pole. It looks rough, the issue is probably something being flogged out rather than a random washer, and parts will be nigh on impossible to obtain. If the reel is a copy of the Shimano Baitrunners inside then it has a "timed" oscillation gear that has probably been installed incorrectly, which will rapidly cause permanent damage to the gears. And it's $50AUD for a rough 30 year old reel that isn't working correctly.
