Jim O

Thanks to Alan for approving my membership.  I am a retiree who is in the process of researching the DAM Quick reels.  This looks like the place for answers.  I am also scheduling some charter trips off the Oregon coast, and planning on scheduling a few charter trips out of San Diego.  When I moved to southern Oregon (Grants Pass) in 1986 from Sierra Madre, Ca., I was unaware that albacore are available here.  So, I focused primarily on river/salmon/steelhead fishing. All of my TLDs and custom rods have sat for the last 40 years.  They are in near new condition!  Anyway, I want to add some DQ reels to my modest arsenal, so I will be posting further questions to the group here.  Thanks.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Ooooo, get you one of those Rogue 150 spinners. If I remember right; made in Grants Pass.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
