I think Mitchell series 3320,3330,3340.... are the worst of French Mitchell even when they come out they sell quite expensive . It become rare because most of them are broke when use in salt water . I don't have a big one as 3390 but I have 3320,3340 and now I only have 3340 in working condition .
The reel have lots of future won't find on other reel as on/off silence anti-reverse ,bail folding button , manual bail close switch . Much more sample build than Mitchell 300 ,but much cheaper build with plastic parts and plastic bushing .It come out about same time as Daiwa SS 1000,2000 ... but build much cheaper at close price

Thanks Quang, good history, I have some alloy under coat to paint onto the parts were required, before I give it the top coat, I think I will cover the Mitchell on the spool, not sure if I can save the line yardage details. cheers Don.

I learnt a bit about the last picture, I placed here, the bail arm trip area, once you remover all 3 screws, also the rubber, then the dome section comes apart, also it has the spring under it, & it was almost full of sand, it was all holding together with corrocion, was`nt till I was placing it back together, that the frame fell apart.

considering none of us can get any schematics for it, I will try n place photos as I place it back together,  along with my double duch english, cheers Don.
