Long time member Michael Solomon screen name Mikey Bluefish passed this week after a prolonged illness.
Services are Monday 8/27

 Very sad to hear that. A few years back I sent him a mint penn 720 as a gesture of his kindness, and wasn't expecting anything in return. A week or so later, a box from him arrived with several Norwegian jigs that were worth much more than the reel I sent him. That's the kind of man he was. Every time I use a Norwegian jig, I think of him.

   Sorry to hear of his passing .     We have passed port to port many times in our younger years .

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
