I a working on my recently acquired DAM Quick reel and have found the anti reverse works only intermittently and the piece that engages the rotor is worn down. Is that part available and is it replaceable? Any help would be appreciated. Tim

Hi Tim —-

There are (5) parts to the A/R assembly, not counting the rotor.

The dog is the most common wear part.

I have those.

That would be great. I also would like to replace the bail spring as it seems weak. Just let me know how much and how to get the money to you. I am not sure how this works so you may have to walk me through it. Tim

Just PM me (private mail by clicking on my user name then sending a private message with your full mailing information).

I'll get the dog and spring out to you most likely, tomorrow.  I have a couple of chores that may interfere with getting down the hill to the post office —- but latest Thursday.

Couldn't make it to the Post Office today.  A fire started down the mountain with mandatory evacuations (Raleigh Fire) and roads were blocked off.  Seems like it is holding within retardant perimeters as of 10 minutes ago.  Within 8 minutes, they had 8 aircraft enroute —- one spotter, 2 helos, and 5 tanker bombers.  We should be OK.
