Suggestion: The original hand crafted "J Spinner".

These look great! I have heard the blade material has a different sound underwater brass,copper, hammered I don't know which is what,
Willow blades or the regular blade.

Got me thinking though about .22 version for panfish.Maybe a yellowjacket  hollowpoint donor bullet to start with.

I use online spinner very often when living in the Midwest . Its  working good for stock trout , white bass , smallmouth bass , rockbass ,yellow perch ... the branch like Mepps or rooster tail are too expensive , I use some no name brand and they work but not as good
the spinner bait  I made is safety pin style for bass , not using ss wire as most spinner bait on market but I mold with piano wire selling at most hobby store , much harder to bent but I believe it make better sound when variation . I catch  more bass with this spinner bait
I quit fishing for bass many years ago because there is no reason to kill them and don't eat them . even catch and release a good percent will die or losing an eye . this percent can be higher when using plastic worm

That center hole is a challenge , but when there are off they do swim differently.

Hi, Funny world.    I wanted to make surface plugs that were flexible and decided silicone was the ideal medium for that.   I made the mold, and inside placed 2 X .45 ACP and one 9 X 19 lead bullets, tied together with 200 lb braid with adequate space in between to retain the flexibility.

It was strong, worked fairly well and caught me a number of Yellowtail.

Because of the soft flexible build it tended to stay on the surface better not bouncing around when retrieved fast.

I've done similar with painted worm weights and left over MIG wire.
