Joe I'm bringing you a reel today and hoping I can talk you into spraying it, maybe it'll be an interesting challenge.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.

This is the challenge  , take this reel and shoot these colors , for the Unicorn theme !

Yesterday I had a chance to mix up some white and red ,to make pink .  Shot a test to see what it looks like after baking .  I like it so far , and it is a start for many layers of powder to follow for a Unicorn theme .    Still trying to figure out how to lay the other colors ..

I have a 440 N to play with , they are easy to clean the paint off with gasoline .

   I shot the base coat of red first cooked it , than put the net bag on top and shot black .
      Yes I did this once before , but what I was looking  to do is make the lines more pronounced .

   This makes no sense  , because you would think the diamond pattern would fill in all black and leave red lines .   The polypropylene must hold a charge and collect the powder to form the lines .

    Something that I need to play with a little more .  Lay polypropylene string in a pattern and shoot .

  Lots of pictures , and will break it down in a few posts .  This is the castings after sand blasting .   A lot of hard lines that I did sand out .

  I did out gas and sure enough some red stuff came up on the reel foot , back in the blast cabinet ot clean up ...

    Shot the base pink , I was going to cook it , but I wanted to try adding more colors first .
     I was not sure if the colors were going to hold ,or bleed into one another .
 
     I should have taken some pictures before I took these pictures . The colors were very bold before I put on the dusting of Candy man for the subtle sparkle.  Now it goes into the oven...

  Here it is assembled .    It does not photograph well in fluorescent lights , it bounces the light off the sparkly  stuff.      You can pick it up anytime you are out this way...

Looks great as always! Joe what's your technique on saving the decals?

Assuming some low heat gun action, maybe an exacto knife to pry the decals up gently?

Of course! I got her out again about 3 weeks ago, going after cats with small shrimp. No hook sets but she was having fun. She's been getting more interested. When I went offshore she asked to see the pics of the fish I'd caught about 5x.
