Reel Repair by Alan Tani

I own two of these reels and have enjoyed them over the years. I have been told they have some value and I made a promise to Lauren, my wife, that if I ever bought another reel I would divest in one first. BTW I made her hold this concept to shoes!  In any case, I have no idea of its value or how to sell it. Looking for some advice and direction. Thanks, Tommy

Selling on ebay or anywhere online is torture.  Instead, I'd consider never getting another reel.

The Trini DC reels go for a lot! Do you have the box? A like new reel in the box will go for pushing $1k. The 30 is probably the least desirable but still...

I don't have the box and it's not pristine but it works great and is in decent shape. I'm hoping for maybe 6-7 hundred

I checked completed listings on eBay but nothing came up.  If it was me I'd start the auction at $500 and see where it goes from there. Just takes 2 people that gotta have it
