3 days to go!  Final gear selection has been made, and final packing should be done by Monday.

I'm picking up John (Brewcrafter) early (0200/0300 hrs) Wednesday morning and will be in the parking lot by 0500 hrs.

Tackle Bags are done.  Reels and Rods will be done tomorrow, leaving Tuesday for laundry and supplies.  And Bill is lying, I know damn well he won't be able to sleep, I'm surprised he's not already in my driveway     Mark was on the Zoom call last night and he's pretty much 100% packed to the point of "wake up, get dressed, climb in car and go   - john

Me too, I budgeted $600.

I have a bit over 100 gallons of Oregon diesel in my truck (24 gallon main and 60 gallon auxiliary tanks over filled and two 5 gallon cans) so I shouldn't have to pay $8.50+ a gallon for fuel in the New People's Democratic Republic of  California Norte.  It was "only" $6.65 a gallon in the "workers paradise" of  Oregon.

From my house.

It's 12:40 AM on 11/3 and I'm too wound up to sleep. I leave for the Atlanta airport in about 8 hours. This will be my 1st fishing trip this year. Had to cancel 3 other trips due to chemo. It will be great just to get out of the house and out of S GA for almost 2 weeks. I'm feeling better, just get tired quickly and I'm as weak as a kitten. But I'm ambulatory!!

I DO! I DO! You can't be any "gladder" than I am, Mark. It's been a tough 6 months. I've   been very healthy my whole life, but for some reason when I hit 77 the wheels fell off the bus!!
Now if I could just get my butt to sleep.
