LOL, we could be buried like Egyptian pharaohs surrounded by fishing gear and wall-mounted trophies.  God help me. :-[
And you know that you're over the hill,
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill,
Doin' the old folks boogie and boogie we will,

I'm going in a niche at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati...final date is prepaid, along with urns for my wife and myself. I find comfort in seeing my name and DOB on the wall.

When setting up our wills and living trusts —- I mentioned to my wife that I wanted to be cremated, when I pass —- she never missed a beat, and just asked "if I wanted that done professionally, or...?"

So we might need a little larger Weber...

Fred, I used to tell people who go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse that they sear their steaks at 1750 degrees, which is roundly the same temp a crematory uses. It's all about cook time. I have found that larger people get a little "smoky" in the retort too, and that can create a smell near the funeral home suspiciously similar to a pig roast.

On a semi-related note, I have been told that even if you feed someone to the hogs, the teeth will be intact, so you need to locate them and feed them to chickens or turkeys, they will break them down in their gizzards...if you are trying to get rid of the evidence.

Any detective willing to shift thru the ____ of every pig in town for evidence has earned that conviction.

Here's something else to ponder about cremation...at some point, the meat is perfectly cooked.
