Reel Repair by Alan Tani

Got one on CL thats on mint condition.  I don't have a use for it yet but the thing came with all the sales receipt and other trinkets.  Got it for $60 as well.

I think I'm gonna change the handle on this one too.  I will do a pm on Alan shortly

If that were my find it would never see a drop of water.  It would sit on top of the box on my book case and get admired!  Great find!

And I thought mine was in pretty good condition.  Yours is really nice!!

The guy I got it from had other mint penn reels w the receipts. I think the paper got mixed up because the receipt said 11-06-80
But inside the box is penned in that it was purchased 2-14-70. White Front Sacto
Nevertheless the reel is in pristine condition.  Not a single spec of rust or signs of pitting a on it.
