Ok, this is aa bit off topic, but here goes...

I dropped my almost-full spray can of CorrosionX and the nozzle broke off, rendering the $10 can useless. Any suggestions on salvaging the precious lubricant?  ::)

Padre

Can you just pull a nozzle from another aerosol can ans stick it in, or is it more badly damaged than that?

nelz

Nope, the stem is broken.

first, turn it upside down and stick a nail in the nozel area to expel all of the gas.  Then use a can openiner and open the bottom of the can and pour out the liquid in a plastic or glass jar.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

engineers love to solve problems.  Good idea Bryan.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

No go, the liquid shoots out no matter what position I hold the the can in.  :-\

I that case, get a container that will fit the can. Stick the nail in as before and press the nail slowly to the bottom of the bottle while the can is upside down. This should collect the corrosion x coming out. Do this until will squirt no more then open the can up and pour out the remaining liquid.

I have the same problem . Thanks Bryan for your tip.

Yeah, thanks Bryan. I had thought of that too. What a pain!
