Hi All

Came across this site after doing a web search on Penn 130 repairs. I'm located in Johannesburg South Africa and do mostly freshwater fishing but occasional salt water fishing.

I haven't restored  a reel for years, but when I was a teenager money was scarce and I repaired and restored whatever rods and reels I could get, to keep me fishing.

The restoring bug has not left me. Now it's motorcycles!

Welcome David.  Nice to have people join from across the world...at least from my perspective. :)
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

David, welcome to the site.  Stick to reels.  you can't catch fish with motorcycles.   :D
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Fishing, Motorcycles? I have combined them - in the '80s I was working in Richards Bay on our east coast. I joined a group of colleagues fishing south of the harbour. It was (still is) a remote section of beach that was accessed via 4x4, beach buggy or bike. I tied my 11' one piece surf rod on top of the seat of my 175 dirt bike and got there with this poking out of the rear!

Regards
David
