Dominick

I don't remember where I got this reel but it was a couple of years ago.  After I got it working Bryan expressed an interest for his collection so I gave it to him. I took these pictures several years ago. Here are some photos of the reel in various stages of disassembly.  The bearing was frozen on the shaft so I took it to Alan for help in removing it. He deftly cut it right off with a Dremel cutting attachment.  While not a tutorial in the true sense it will at least give you an idea what is inside should you get one and want to clean it up.  I did not take photos of it all cleaned up.  Maybe Bryan will.  Dominick

The next couple of photos show the hardened grease and how dirty it was inside.

There was some minor rust inside.

Here is a photo with the frozen bearing.

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

They were great reels in their day. Back then I couldn't afford them so I had Mitchell reels, still have my 306 in good condition.
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

You have to show the before and after Dominick. That's how it works. I'm taking that writing is Italian?
I have to get educated on this. The Language Barrier is Killing me, Especially with the Everol shopping.
