Hodwy guys, I need some help.  I was looking around for some new jigs and I came across this site.

http://www.pandashop.com/index.php?route=common/home

Does anyone on here have any experience with these guys?  Are they legit?

I read an article by Alan Hawk about some of these scam sites that sell reels.  He recommends checking out the whois info for the business and I did.

Whois Server Version 2.0

So what do you think?

By the way, all of the jigs and poppers that are on that site seem to be made and distributed by this company.

Honestly, I would buy a couple and see what happens.  I shoot a little loose with my money sometimes, but have never lost any money thru a fraudulent fishing site.

I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.

swill88

Their site lets you check out with paypal or credit card.
The fraud sites want a wire transfer or western union.
Doesn't look too cheap to be true either.

FatTuna

I can't tell you whether or not it's legit but the prices aren't that tempting. Risk vs rewards doesn't seem worth it. I think a lot of those jigs are all made in the same factories in the PRC and rebranded. I'd go test out some on Ebay first. If the hooks are junk you can make your own assist hooks with premium hooks. Pretty sure the jigs are just lead.

Lumberjack93

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered 3 jigs.  I'll report back when I recieve them as to quality and finish.

Some of the poppers on the site go for $70.00 plus bucks.  I didn't order any of them.   ;D

So, we'll see.  I paid with Pay-Pal so I think I'm covered.

By the way, these are the jigs that "Hooked" me.  LOL

I bought the 5th & 6th jig to the right.  I do a lot of night fishing for blackfin tuna and these jigs look awesome.

FatTuna

I'm sure it will be fine. I wouldn't sweat it.

Lumberjack93

Ok, I wanted to report back.  I got my jigs and they were of high quality.  The shipping was also very fast considering it came from China.

I would give one caution.  E-mail the shop owner and ask him if the lures you are ordering are in stock.  I placed my order and then got an email stating that the items I ordered were sold out even though the website let me order them.  So, I ordered some different jigs and got the ones I wanted.  Also, I was able to pay with Pay-Pal so I feel the shop owner is legit.  I'll be ordering again when he gets his stock built back up.
