you sound like a man of experience. you are right, time to get out the credit card. I have a correct clamp, but need the nuts. probably change the sleeve and drags to start...
I found a couple others while I was digging around, my silver beach and super mariner. I probably won't fish these though..

DaBigOno, your reel stand looks different.  Did you drill holes and add a rod clamp to a 30-65 stand?

Are you thinking the old chrome 30-66 stand didn't have holes for a clamp?

Sorry, I didn't see your response until now.  About the stand, It looks different than the typical 30-65 and 30-66 stands.  From what I can see in the photo, it looks like a 30-65 stand with holes for the rod clamp bolts.  Just an unusual looking reel stand.

I thought I'd seen this style of reel foot before, and I've found it.  It was from an old post of Alan's.
