Got a chance to troll for Coho,s w a friend.  Jumped on it. ::)  He picked a spot after a short run. 8)

Ron got the first one in after a couple of missed strikes.

Then another was put in the boat.  What a beauty!

Of course I was filled with hope my rod would get some luck so I went a little deeper and waited.   Soon there it was , just like magic.

Sometimes you just have to wait and keep your fingers crossed! ;)
When we returned to the dock our friend was there for his treat! ::)

It was a fun filled morning getting some salt air.

Good times....good to see fish coming over the rail....Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

If that seal waits at the dock that's fine, but when he steals your catch, shot for shot then he aint my friend.
Sometimes with Squid fishing, one seal can take every person's catch, they are very clever.

Nice fish and scenery, always a nice report. Don't stop Gary.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

And just in case Gary's fish looks small compared to the halibut we're used to seeing. ;D

This is a Prime Coho Specimen from Southeast Alaska.  Looks to be 30 inches and around 10#...or bigger.

Nice catch, Gary!

I got used to calling Gary the Butt Man, butt now I may change that to the Salmon King.   ::)  Good going.  Your humble trainee.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
