If you haven't got it out already,  IIRC the size you need a .9mm (0.89mm to be precise) allen key to remove the spool flange.  If it is tight you might munt it if you try to improvise with something else.

Haven't opened the reel yet, it will be sitting on the table in its protective sock until Monday. I have a stack of spare Allen keys that I can shave .1mm off. thanks for the heads up.

So it's done, other than needing a new line roller bearing the old girl was in very good condition.

i had to make one.  it was the last time i serviced one and will not touch another.
