I live in Boone, NC (northwest mountains). Great wild rainbow and brown trout fishing. Also have a house at Southport, NC (southern coast).  Great wahoo, blackfin and dolphin fishing. I rebuild old Garcia Mitchell spinning reels and Penn conventionals - especially 113s. I trout fish with a Garcia Mitchell 308 and saltwater troll with Penn 113s. I joined because of the accurate rebuild and repair information. I discovered the site on MysticParts.com and used Alan's tutorial to help with a 209m (perfect sheepshead reel). I am looking forward to having a place to ask advice when stumped on a Penn reel. I use Mitchell Fishing Reel Museum for advice on rebuilding Garcia Mitchells; If you are an admirer of Garcia Mitchell reels it's worth a visit. Thanks for letting me join in your discussion.

Welcome from the Sacramento Delta....love the old Mitchell's used the 308's and 408's my dad had since the 60's....have a couple newer 308's now.
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!
