Chiming in late here, but I just saw this thread.

Speaking of the Captain's Choice from BassPro:

I have a pair of what seems to be OEM Abu Garcia 6/0's.
As far as I can see Abu never produced this reel.

To me it is identical to the Captains Choice 6/0





I've been hunting for a replacement bearing cap, click tongue & spring, and some other bits for awhile now.

It has a steel main gear about the size of a 114/115 but a jig master size gear sleeve/stud with bearing.

Any ideas on where to find a parts list and buy parts?
The reels were passed on to a local Fijian fella here from a visiting fisherman and I'm trying to salvage them for him.
