There's an awesome post in the BDOutdoors SOCALOffshore section about some guys that ran into some big BFT and were trolling with their standard live baits sticks (http://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/threads/we-brought-knives-to-a-gun-fight-but.546658/) that got spooled super fast.

I planted a little seed that just maybe they could up their trolling game with some simple reels with good cranking power. :)

A used Senator 6/0 can still be found for ~$50 and might have made their report even more epic for less than the price of the gas they burned that day.
