This took a lot of help from members here, but I managed to get it done! ;D

Even with a brand new bridge, it has to be shimmed to take out the slop.

A big Thanks to Randy Pauly of Vintage offshore Tackle for the Accurate 9/0 Clicker kit.
I really believe this was the last one on the planet for this build!

Black Pearl ss Hex Drags with Delrin on the top and bottom.

I just did a single ss dog. These plates are not mine. I don't feel comfortable grinding on them.

Both plates ready. The clicker was a treat as well as the custom bearing holder made by Tom Hyrinuk.
The reel clamp came from him as well. His Last One.

Truly a gold Masterpiece.

Thank you Randy Pauly, Tom Hyrinuk, Paul Berinson and Dom for all your help.
Enjoy Your Pot o' Gold Ted! The Pleasure was all mine! ;)

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

That is one sweet 9/0...Maybe to sweet to fish .

Cool
I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6...

A genuine objet d'art... but surely it will never be fished?  ???

Beautiful job, Daron --

Some of those components are extremely rare...

What a great reel.

A reel that nice, strong, and well prepared -- needs to be used.

Otherwise, it will never prove its worth -- or earn its stripes.

Best,

Fred

great work, daron!
Yep!  Daron has come a long way.  Good job Daron.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
