Anybody making their own shims?

Making shims? .. how do you do it exactly,  Thanks Joe.

Buy several sizes of shim stock (brass or stainless) and cut them out with scissors or shears or punch.

Brass shim you can drill with a good sharp drill bit, then cut the outside diameter with a scissors.   I just did 2 a few days ago.    A dull drill bit causes a burr and it is difficult to get nice and straight edge from that.
