Tackle box pull out from storage

Just pull out a tackle box that I left in attic 20 years ago when just moved to Houston .All rubber baits got melted have to throw away ,spinner baits can be saved just have to change rubber skirt .Hooks and crank baits are in good condition .

I think we all have stowed away a box of baits.....and then forgotten them until we ended up with a "gob of goo"!

Common occurance back in the day.  I can remember when tackle boxes started being sold with the tagline of being "worm proof" but that was back in the day that the only soft baits were "Creme - The King of Worms" (Yeah, I'm a geezer).  I know that many of our Ohana have solid experience with casting their own soft baits; and I know our own Jurelometer has quite a bit of knowledge on how the different polymers interact. - john

What pissed me off was not only the worm dissolved, but it dissolved the box too and you had to look at the scar and your mistake forever.
