I don't work on many spinners (don't really like them)but have a stradic and baffled by what looks like it should be easy. I cannot get the bail to work. There's only 3 parts and I can't figure it out. I humbly ask for assistance 😊🤔IMG_1932.jpeg
You know that moment when your steak is on the grill and you can already feel your mouth watering.
Do vegans feel the same when mowing the lawn?

There is a hole on the back of the bail arm. The pin sticking up from the bail arm mount (the part with the spring in it) goes into that hole. Then rotate the bail arm around until the screw can be inserted through the arm into the mount. Hold the two together against the spring pressure , insert the screw, tighten. I hope I explained it well enough.

As the bail arm is rotated the pin moves the bail tension/return mechanism around the inside of the mount until the spring/bar mechanism snaps past center and holds. The bail trip then pushes on the bar/spring assembly to push it past center in the opposite direction to close and hold the bail. That's the best I can do.

Edit: probably easier to do with the bail wire removed.

OhReely's got it. I do the bail wire removal as a standard thing after too many issues with installation.
