Hi friends,
I would like to purchase a Guide roller kit for a set of trolling rods, the blanks I have chosen are the Rainshadow RSU60MH for line class 30-50 pounds.
I have contacts with a company that should supply me with roller guides, they offered me a set of guides for the 50 lbs class. The blanks I chose have a size 9 Tip. The company that supplies the roller guide set tells me that they only have size 14 Tip rollers available.
How can I do this? Can you help me? I'm not exactly an expert at assembling rods.

There are quite a few online sellers that may have what you need.  JAN'S Netcraft and Mudhole come to mind.  However you may have a difficult time matching the components. Roller components are not cheap.  You may have to buy a complete set.
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

I had the same problem because they are still making roller tips for the fiberglass rods not carbon fiber blanks that are made today. I had to make a aluminum insert to fit. Some companies make the correct size but allot of them dont.

Roller guides normal use for heavy duty rod , I have not see any roller guides for size 9 tip ( 3.4 mm )

Modern guide inserts hold up to spectra well, consider not using roller guides.

AFTCO makes their  standard roler top in 9/64" (size 9)

Thanks guys, you were very quick to respond. I wanted to use the new rollers made by the Italian company Everol. I sent an email to see if they can make me custom Tip rollers, that is, size 9 (38 mm). I'll keep you updated; we'll see what they say.  :D

I have a set of everol roller guides. I made a aluminum insert to get the tip to fit. It worked perfectly. The guide hole is straight so it was easy. Then I used a taper reamer to ream it until it fit on the blank.

I really like these Italian Roller Guides, it excites me to customize my fishing rods with something so uncommon on the world scene. Your personal impressions?

Thank you, you are always very kind and willing to help, I appreciate it very much.I emailed the Italians at Everol to have them custom-build Tip Rollers. If that's not possible, I'll buy Alps, which are abundant here in Europe.
