Thanks for the tips John.
My Handle and stand came today. I chose an Aluminum Ergo version grip.

Nice work Daron.
That is a beauty of a handle.  That one might make a good replacement option for the overly high priced gold teardrop handles (>$225 No longer avail at Scott's) for the 130ST.

Holy cow this thread grew, and now there are TWO Everols!!!  Nice Daron, way to go.  Glad you got it to work out in the end.  Looking forward to seeing some big bruisers in your pictures from vacation  ;D

Is the Godfather going with you on your upcoming Florida trip?  :)

I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

I have 600 yards of 200 Lb JB Hollow. Just no 200lb mono.
The rod I having made for it won't be done until I get back.
Probably Not, This is a Budget trip. No Condo. Staying at the Best Western.
I don't feel like toting this Monster around every where I go.
I need to catch something big enough to show Adam and Tom their Inserts and sleeves were well worth their efforts. ;)

My Custom rod came today for the Godfather. Short Stuart #4 detachable butt on an IGF 80 Blank.
Simple Black with white wraps.
Next to a Calstar 80 to 130 Boomer. This rod is Massive! :o

Daron..that rod is a beast.  Why no roller guides?  I suppose sand and rollers don't mix very well?

Yes, and it keeps the cost down as well. Fuji's will do just fine.

The 18/0 makes it look small.

Daron,

The word, ""Small"" does not apply to anything in that picture. :D

Indeed Mike. ;D
I'm in need of a giant spool of 200 lb test mono now.
I know just where to look. High Seas for this Behemoth.
I have the rod and the reel to catch a Monster. I just need the time.
The detachable butt is a nice touch. I've wanted one of these for some time.
The 18/0 doesn't look that big compared to a 16/0.
However, It does have a lot more groceries inside. ;)

The Everol has alot more weight, but and despite the slightly smaller full spool diameter, it has more power (in low gear), and will outperform the Senator in terms of drag range, consistancy, adjustabilty, etc.  The upgraded Senator is a more manageable package, and will certainly give you the capacity and drag to catch anything that swims.

Darron, when you line that thing up you gotta give us a pic with the full ammo box on the drag like the Boomer.
