80 degrees and really nice conditions on the water for the first trip of the year. I started out by loading a stringer with vermilions and triggers. Then I decided to play with the big snappers. Got two like the one in the picture and got a couple more cut off on the reef. We had 48 on the boat today and everybody enjoyed the vermilions and triggers and a few Red Snappers.

You Dawg! ;D It was 3 degrees when I left for work this morning. It warmed up to a balmy 14!
Glad to see you caught some Dwight! ;D

Al had a bad surge in his house Friday and it cooked every appliance in the house and he is trying to it all replaced. He came down to the dock to see what we caught and may be able to fish Saturday. This was our first trip this year and he really wanted to be on the boat.

I can't wait till June when those big mangoes are up in the water column.I like to stay overnight when that happens.j maybe we could get a opening for some red snapper again this year a little longer than 2 days would be nice.

MFB

Nice fish, the red snapper don't get that big over here & they're a deeper red.
