With all the hard work he did fighting cancer. I was hoping he would pull out of this. I have been praying for him. But I know he already has a ticket to heaven.

"And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always
irregularly. Spaces fill
with a kind of
soothing electric vibration.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed.
We can be. Be and be
better. For they existed."

RIP, Sal.

Sal, it was a pleasure and a privilege to know you.
I hope Wallace was there to meet you.
I'm glad I kept a few of your PMs.
I still re-read old ones from Wallace, once in a while.
You once told me about Wallace's dream, before he departed, to be on a boat with me and you on either side.
I hope that's still in store for us, one day...
I miss you.

My deepest condolences Cathy - to you, your family and friends.
With great sorrow, Justin

This news has just come to me..
This is a truly Sad day,,  I will have to take a minute to let this sink in.

Firstly, my deepest sympathies to Cathy and the rest Of Sal's Family, During these Sad times.
But Know that he was much Loved and respected here amongst this community.

Sal helped me, with many many questions I had when I first came on board, His wonderful kind nature and his desire to help was evident for all to see.
I never meet Sal in person, This Damn Covid has robbed me of that opportunity, he was going to try to meet up with Dom and myself, before my trip was cancelled.
Your suffering and your fight is now over Sal, you can now rest in peace, BUT you will never be forgotten my Friend...

RIP Sal

Justin, Nice words.  Wallace was a good guy with a heck of a sense of humor and plenty of knowledge.  Hey, if there's room I would like to squeeze in on that fishing trip with you, Sal, and Wallace some day...
I believe this fits with your reply... https://alantani.com/index.php?topic=16060.0
Col, I agree, robbed indeed.  I still hope to meet you in person some day, and when we do we will toast to our pal, Sal.
