Reel Repair by Alan Tani

Hello all,
I just wanted to say hello after I found this site to look up information on rebuilding my reels – Penn, ABU, AVET & Shimano. I have slowly starting getting back in salt water fishing after an extended leave of only fishing freshwater for the last few years. I work in the Biotech industry in South San Francisco near Oyster Point, so I plan to leave work a little early when I get a chance to throw some jigs for stripers or halibut when they are in.
I am looking forward to be on this site in the future for some helpful hints or comments.
