This cross bar can be ordered from my online store now. (www.mkt.com/pro-challenger-LLC)

Well, here we go again. As you all know that these spacer bars are in mass production at this moment. They should be done by the end of this month.

The short bar (Polished or Unpolished) will fit the Penn 501-506-Senator 110-(49-149-349-these will require 3 pieces for each reel).
The short bar will also fit the Newell 220 and 322.

The long bar (Polished only) will fit the Penn 500-505 and 990-980
The long bar will also fit the Newell 338 and 440.

The following link is from Sal's testing on these bars with the reels.

But they will be. You better make us some for the 970 as well, I love that reel.
I just purchased one and it arrived today with broken screws in the frame post, the seller claimed that the screws were missing ::). he's being a real you know what about it, but I decided to just let it go.
There are many nice guys out there, but unfortunately a few are nasty.

Guys, Alan C. asked me which one I like best and I'm having a hard time deciding ;D.

As you could see, the cross bar at the top has a shiny finish, I believe that one would show small scratches than the bottom one, but it sure looks sweet. They are stainless steel and the small scratches might not be a problem, they could be buffed right out.
Please let me know which one you like, thanks!
Sal

I meant guys and gals, sorry Aiala, I always think of you and other ladies here as one of the guys ... I mean that in a good way ;) ;D

Shiny, it looks closer to to original, and will match up better with the chrome rings.  ;D

Shark Hunter

Matte finish for me Sal. Sorry to be the party pooper. ;D

Bryan Young

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Jerseymic

Shiny, like you say Sal, easier to buff.

Polished to match the chrome rings.

I have to agree with Bryan!  Shiny to match my hands!  and the rings.

Wayne
Never let the skinny guys make the sandwiches!!  NEVER!!!!

Marcq

I think the non-shiny looks more like Stainless, so my vote goes for the non-shiny

Ok Wayne, looks like I really got to you when I mentioned that your hands were nice and shiny ;D. that was meant as a compliment. You're not a dummy like me, look at my hands ::)

Now back on the cross bars, Matte would match my hands, but shiny would match yours, I'm leaning towards matching your hands ;) ;D
