I received a late Christmas present today from My Uncle. A Daiwa Emblem Pro 5000. Very Smooth Reel.

After looking at the Schematic Fred. I know where its going for servicing. ;)

I fished with it last September. It has been a while since I stepped out of old school. I couldn't believe the way this thing casts. :o
I set my Uncle up with a 9/0 for Sharking. He gave me the daiwa.

I need more Uncles. The last fish that my Uncle caught was at the Cape May Lobster House on his plate.

I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Daren that doesn't look that bad just lay everything out in the order you take it apart and separate the groups of parts like the diagram does and you will be good to go.  ;)

When I find the time, I will Dustin. I can see this taking a couple hours. ::)

The only thing that scares me, is this reel is pretty much entirely plastic.
I didn't realize that until I was looking at it real close. I am afraid a screw hole will strip pretty easily.

just have to be careful you would think on something like that it would a metal insert for the threads

A little finesse goes a long way.  But out of all the plastic spinning reels ive worked on, I havent had an issue with stripping threads.  They typically use special screws that hold pretty well.  Just treat it like a screw in metal, and turn it backwards until you find the start, and you will be fine.

That schematic doesnt look that bad, try a baitrunner reel...
