I found Japan on the foot but can't find any other info. It was in a yard sale tackle box along with my DAM Quick 110.

Midway Tommy

From the mid '70s after Wright & McGill stopped having their reels made by Ofmer of Italy & Shakespeare. They did what a lot of other companies did, not unlike Ted Williams, etc., to be competitive they lowered quality and started having their reels made in Japan.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

I had one of those Eagle Claws that looked identical to that one, it was the ultralight model.  Gave it to a friend 5-6 years ago and he still uses it. At the time I knew nothing about reel repair, as far as I know it's never been serviced.

Just picked one up new in box while visiting my parents in Oregon.

Beautiful little reel

There's nothing wrong with a few "F's" on your record....Food, Fun, Flowers, Fishing, Friends, and Fun....to name just a few !

Looks like the Compac reels Ive seen. Likely made by the same manufacturer. Whoever that was.
