Hello amigo, hurricane Kay was degraded to a tropical Storm before it hit the area, So the damage was not as big as expected.
We were out of Internet and Phone service since 3am until 15min ago (9:45pm).

Damage, were many energy and telephone poles down and some flooding on the roads also the highway was damaged in 2 different areas,  no energy and Phone in all San Felipe town
Nothing really bad happened or deaths so, thats good thing

Me and my family as well as my house are ok

THANKS

Glad to hear that everyone made it without injury. Hope the road crews get things patched up soon.

when I said "me and my family and MY HOUSE are ok" it was because there are persons that lost their home or part of their home, not many houses were damaged as the ones I will show but few of the ones that live pretty close to the beach, they received the strong winds with high tide and lots of water that washed out the foundations of the houses and the rest is history.

this was caused mostly because of the BAD combinations of the MONTH with the HIGHEST tide of the Year (September) + happened on the days with the highest tide of that Month + winds of Hurricane Kay (degraded to tropical storm, I dont want to know what would have happened if we have gotten the Hurricane in Category 2 as it was expected).

I will upload some pictures of some of the damage caused by the hurricane Kay

It may not be very productive,
