Hey guys, it's been a minute since I've posted anything but I just got my 20/0 back from Shark Hunter. She's finally all finished with about all the mods it can have. I'm thinking about a Shark trip soon and when I get everything finalized I'll start posting and documenting the whole procedure. Here's pics of "Bigfoot"

On mine Alan put on 2400 yards of JB hollow braid. With a 300lb mono top shot. Not cheap

My goodness that's almost a whole bulk spool. Thanks for that.

Love it Mike!  Can't wait to see the fish photos.  Be sure to use the front and rear rod braces.

There's nothing wrong with a few "F's" on your record....Food, Fun, Flowers, Fishing, Friends, and Fun....to name just a few !

Crab Pot

Stupid question but here it goes:

Are these kits still available?

Some reels are worth getting divorced over!  ;D

Steve
Buy it nice or buy it twice.

I wonder why Penn, Ocean City and those came before them (Cox, Von Hoff, etc.) decided not to make anything larger than a 16/0?  And, that was in the days of thick linen line..  Something tells me there was an obvious reason somewhere.

If I could get a stainless steel bridge made it would increase the strength of the reel. The brass one is its weekness.

JasonGotaProblem

I have at least one steel gear, some sleeves, and a few inserts for these that I'm unlikely to use. I'll start another thread when I quantify that.
