I'm pretty sure the complete bail assembly is identical - I'll double-check when I get home.

The rotors, though, can sometimes differ slightly. Been down that road before ... there are a few small variations that you can usually fix with an extra washer or a bit of careful sanding - but that's not something I'm eager to repeat.

Anyway, if you need any bails, bail arms, screws, springs, or other small parts, I've got a fair stash of those around. Happy to help if you're missing something.

These are the 2 spools I have,the only axle(100-506) I have fits either brake spindle.I am not sure which is which.Both spools are marked 285.

For those of you who may not know —- there is an absolute wealth of information in that DAM Quick pamphlet that includes the 1001, 1202, 1401, 2002, 3002, 4001, & 5001.

These are among some of the best reels ever produced by DAM, in West Germany.  Most production was transferred to Asia after this series.

And these reels were the pinnacle of DAM's engineering efforts at superior and lifetime spinning reels.

Clear schematics, part number lists, tech features, operational features, and more.

These reels were ahead of their time, and are as capable fishers today as they were over 40 years ago.

I just thought I should post all the manuals that I have previously posted on this topic, and bring them together under this sticky that you created.
It may serve the OHANA  a bit better to have all of these in one place.
