Never heard of adding cracked corn, but Google says it's a good idea. You need a chicken Benny.  It would work all the amendments into the soil looking for a few pieces of corn.

Good for you Benni.  I can't grow anything in my backyard, too cold.  The wind and cold air come through the pass through the Pacific coast range right into my backyard.  Lucky you. Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

I just hit my citrus trees, sent Bill away to the alpine environment of SoCal with a load of oranges, lemons, tangerines..And I'm hopeful that next weekend is the Rancho Jurupa Trout Derby.  Would be good to put some meat on the fire! - john

How do you like your "solar fencer" ? I'm still trying to come up with a system to keep the squirrels away from my pecan and English walnut trees! The "electrified" chicken wire worked for a bout an hour....but the darn things quickly learned to jump past the "electrified" sections, or clear over the whole fence! They are smart little so and so's!
There's nothing wrong with a few "F's" on your record....Food, Fun, Flowers, Fishing, Friends, and Fun....to name just a few !

A pellet gun takes quick care of those little rascals without the pop/bang. I hate squirrels, & my next door neighbor  feeds the dang things & has lots of cameras, so I have to pop them in discreet locations.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

The solor fence works great,,,sometimes a baby rabbit might get in so I got lower it,,,,last year had a squirrel knocking down my sunflowers to  get the seeds i got a trap and deported him because it's illegal to relocate them here,,,, ;)
