Is there a video or step by step instructions available for a general cleaning and relube for this reel

Does anybody know how to fix this?  My reel does a quarter turn backwards when you stop reeling in. the antirevesre doesn't slip it just turns backward a quarter turn. Any help??

If your reel is the 4500 SS and not the 4500 SSG, it does not have a roller clutch to keep the handle from turning backwards, but uses a dog and ratchet system. 
Some amount of handle backplay is normal, but if it is excessive, the culprit is probably the thin metal ears on the dog that grab the ratchet. 

According to Mystic, the  earlier 4500s have eared dogs, the later years had sprung dog.  If you hear a clear click click click when you turn the handle, you have a sprung dog model and it either works completely or it doesn't work at all.

Assuming an eared dog:

When the gears start turning backwards, the ears on the dog pull the dog toward the ratchet teeth, locking in the anti reverse.

Eared dogs are a bit finicky.  The usual culprit is lubricant.  If the dog mostly works but it has some intermittent extra backplay, it is probably a lubrication problem.

 Old oil, or especially grease gets a bit too gummy to allow the dog to move freely. Too much fresh grease can also be a problem.  The ratchet should just be lightly lubricated.  Cleaning the ratchet and dog and spplying  a tinyl amount of oil or grease will usually fix it.

Next most common problem is bent ears, usually from maintenance error. If someone bent the ears, and they are not too badly mangled, you can gently bend them back.  But it doesn't take much damage to ruin them. Mystic is a good source for Penn reel parts if you need a new dog.
