Hi Guys,

Got my 7500SS frame back from the powder coaters today & they have done a sweet job. Will post further pictures when my parts from Pennparts arrive.

Regards

Wow, I didn't think it would be red. Did you try the rotor by hand and see if it has enough clearance?
Very nice.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Hi Sal,

Not yet, have some new bushes coming for it. Was only planning on assembling it once.

Keep us posted Mark. I believe that reel is going to look sweet, but you need stickers for the sides, Scotts might still have those.
If you're worried about scratching it when assembling, send it over, I have lots of patience.
But there is a chance that I might loose it :-\ ;D.

looks good let me know if you need anything else powder coated.

Hi Sal,

Thanks for your gracious offer, but I think I can manage to put it back together (hopefully with no left over parts) I have one decal that has the ratio on it, but am missing the 7500SS one Scott's don't have any in stock & I have looked on several websites without any success.

Hi Broschro,

Thanks for the offer, but the logistics of getting it half around the world & back again when my local powder coater is a 10 min drive don't quite add up. Stoked with the job it's much better than I could ever do with a spray can & most likely a lot more durable too. Only cost me a dozen beer to get it done.

I haven't done any coating in a bit.my next project with powder coating is going to be a black 4/0 narrowed in all black.I have the 68 spoll and bars just Ned a drag stack and some time.

Hi Broscho,

Not familiar with Penn conventional reels, I only have 3 free spool reels a Dawia 900H, Shimano TLD15 & a Shimano Speedmaster MKIV. Have replaced handle on 900H with one of Alan's. When I finish this spinfisher I might upgrade the handles on the Shimano's as well.

Sorry Mark, the only decal I have shows the ratio, not 7500. If you want it I'll put it in the mail.
