Hello all,

This is an awesome site!

Been servicing my own reels and many others' for a few years and if I had known this site my life would had been much easier.

My toys are baitcasters and small spinning reels. Mainly Daiwas and Abus.

Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to learning heaps from you guys.

Cheers
Edward

Welcome Edward.  I think it is about time to start acquiring some Penns.  ;) Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Sydney. Not really a fun place for the fishers ...

I lived in Sydney for a year but never managed to get out on the water, one of mates is an aussie who has moved to NZ from Sydney reckon the harbour fishing is coming back quite steadily these days.

Since they banned trawlers from the harbour its a great place to fish. you can now get Jew fish and Yellowtail Kings in sight of the Opera House. Good size snapper can also be caught. Southern Right and Hump Backs also come into the Harbour regularly, unfortunately there has been an increase in the number of Bull Shark sighting has also increased.

There's still quite a few spots around the Harbour where you wouldn't eat anything you caught because of pollution from the bad old days but its getting better
