Welcome, Dave --

One of your neighbors -- just below Shaver.

We generally go over to Oakhurst using the back way through Northfork & Bass Lake a couple of times a month.

Have lunch at El Cid, catch a movie, go to Raley's.

Never have to go to Fresno that route.

Are you in Coarsegold or Yosemite Lakes?

My Father-in-Law had a house off of 417, on Blackhawk.

That was a few years before the Casino went in.

Hi All;

Recently new to overhead reel fishing, always used the old Alvey side cast in the past.
With my new boat (Stabicraft 1650) I decided to head offshore and upgrade my gear to more purpose built.
But in the process I have had some issues, this forum has answered some questions, but there may be more.

Good forum

Cheers
life's pretty dull without fishing

I am new to forums, this is my first.  Guess I never said hi.  I am just a cotton farmer from West Texas, shade tree mechanic, hunter, fisherman, now I engineer high speed rotating equipment systems for a major mozarella cheese manufacturing company.

Good stuff here.  Love your site.

Dominick

Welcome Lingwrangler.  The heck with fishing let's talk fresh mozzarella.   :D Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Hi All,

I've been trolling here for nearly 4 years, registered for 2 years; I guess it's about time to introduce myself:-)

I'm Azlan from Malaysia. Started off shore fishing about 5 years ago; stumbled upon this highly informative site when I was looking for a guide to maintain my reels, it is definitely the best reel maintenance site on the web. Kudos to you Alan... Looking forward to learn more from the experts here... In the meantime, thinking seriously about getting the bearing packer ;-)

By the way, I go by the nickname 'asbo'; all my friends call me asbo. Feel free to call me Azlan or asbo... :-)

Regards,
Azlan aka asbo
