WOW!  Not only is that a small fortune in assist hooks, that is a GREAT way to organize them. - john

I tie them myself so they're not all that expensive plus I can repair/retied them if they fray too much

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Gfish

Nice Sandbar. One of the last of the high quality old-school mostly metal spinners('92-'05). 2-lbs. weight for that size. And you can still buy most parts.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!

Thanks Tom and Greg.

I was excited to get one in such good shape for the price.

I already picked up a NIB spare spool for a fairly painless amount and I am keeping an eye out for a new bail wire.

The reel is a beast just like the DAM Quick 5001.

Next up in my search is the 8500 NIB. I am trying to be patient and pick up a deal.

Trying to not spend any money on more reels until I purge a few from my "collection"

I appreciate you guys more than you will ever know. 2026 is going to be a banner year.

I am interested
I didn't think it would be this easy to find and identify. I've had my workshop back for a few days now. Aren't you semi-local?

Also have a rotor, sideplate emblems, spool shaft. And... LINE ROLLERS!
Probably other stuff too.

I will send you a pm.

My wife and youngest son just returned from a road trip to Florida. She is a flea market girl, so I gave her a list. She brought me a Shakespeare 2091 and 2081, plus an Airex Spinster. My son got a Shakespeare 2062.

I went to a fishing flea market and mostly behaved. I only bought reels on my list, and cheap. I got a Daiwa 4000c, BG15, a parts Penn  750SS, and a Shakespeare push button 1767.

For bang for your buck in a modern reel they're hard to beat.

A smoking deal.  I would have been tempted.
