Awesome, there's not much information about these  reels online you should service it and do a tutorial. I bet there's someone out there who'll need it.

No, you're it! ;D
Get cranking opening that baby up buddy ;).
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

This reel was new by ebay standards. It is, but it didn't even come with a manual. Just the box. I have printed out the schematics, but they are pretty standard. There is one schematic for all two speeds.
Let me do some more research before I attempt this. Looking over redsetta's on the older one speed I think I will need a little more know how.
Its a little more complicated than a Senator!

Yeah, I cannot wait to see what these reels are all about on the inside. Never heard of Everol until you posted it; Lamborghini to our Chevy Lexus, Ford, and Honda reels. lol
I don't know how to do everything, but I know how to get everything done.

Daron, you could use your new toy for a car winch if you bolt it to your front bumper... Awesome!
Nice piece of precision machinery there.
Best of luck with opening that baby. If you can work on those you can probably work on any reel. ;)
Enjoy it,
Dom

Snagged that prize with 17 seconds left on the clock... way t'go, Mr. Shark! Can't think of a better person to own it.

You're going to need a HUGE plinth!  :D

I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

Maxed Out

Wow, now that is a cool reel.....and way beyond huge. How much does it weigh Daron ?? It looks like it could be fairly heavy.

Shark Hunter

165 ounces, a little over 10 lbs. 9 ounces lighter than a Penn 16/0.
Holds 1500 yards of 200 lb test mono.
The 20/0 comes in at 194 ounces. The biggest reel currently manufactured.
The 18/0 held that record for three decades.
If I lived in Italy. The price would be $1194.00
To buy one in The United states. It costs $1800 from Everol USA.
Its very rare for one of these to come up for sale in that condition at The Italian Price. ;)

Oh that is sweet! A killer deal for sure. Patience pays off!

I also join.ed the big boy club ( but not the big bigboy club like you) the other day, I bought that Penn 130st from Alex for 300, a little work and stick it back together to fight big fishies.

Hope springs eternal

Keep it up Daron and you will need a bigger house!

The Everol is joy to work on and it's built to not need parts. Especially bearings. Just wait until you get inside..!
