I got my 1st baitcaster in '86 at the BX a Bantam 10xSG,still got it.

Back then it was a birds nest machine,now it seems so easy to cast 40 years later :fish

I got married in '84. In '86 I was Skiing in the winter and hiking/backpacking in the summer. Working the rest of the time building systems to go in restaurants to help with inventory control, purchasing, labor scheduling, etc.

Late to the party but i was 3 years old,living in a little mill house that mom and dad rented. He was a framer, she was a receptionist for Converse. We moved a couple years later and I barely remember that house.
I do remember picking up a canned beverage off the kitchen table and taking a swig off the nastiest drink I'd ever had -- a slightly warm Budweiser.
