SOME REAL NICE WORK YOU GOT THERE. I JUST BOUGHT ME AN OLDER REM 1100 20 GA LAST WEEK. I SHOOT SPORTING CLAYS WITH FRIENDS EVERY THURSDAY. I NORMALLY SHOOT MY BERETTA 3901 12 GA. I RELOAD THE SHELLS FOR THE 12 GA. I BOUGHT ENOUGH SUPPLIES LAST YEAR TO LAST FOR A COUPLE YEARS. THE RANGE GOT SOME 20 GA. IN LAST WEEK AND I BOUGHT COUPLE CASES FOR $65 EA.  GOING TO SHOOT THE 1100 MOST OF THE TIME DOES'T BEAT THE SHOULDER UP AS BAD.

Very nice, Joel.  In my circles I don't often see walnut, just mostly plastic and fiberglass. :-\

Like the custom Mauser 98, I used to have one in an Argentine 7x57. Also like the Rem Mohawk. Had one of them in a .222
Very interesting and beautiful wood work. Well done!

Joel:  Where are you?  How did the surgery come out?  Are you okay?  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

What is the S X S,, It looks to have a Greener cross bolt, and some Nice wood!!  With the bright receiver and nicely carved cheekpiece, it appears also to be Continental!

Hey Dom quit fussing!!  I am home in Auburn, did not have surgery yet as my Dr and I both decided to hold off for a bit.  I am just not ready to have my neck opened up. I took a shot, doing some nerve flossing exercises, may go see a witch doctor or two.....

Snagged-  That was a Sauer 12ga, was pretty danged nice shape for being 70 yrs old or so. I dont think I did anything to it but gently clean and oil it. It was almost 100% condition as I recall.

Joel,

Very nice work !!!

The 24 has a cracked butstock and no fore end. Numrich has the fore end parts and I have found people that sell the wood, but only in the standard plain Jane grade.

When my brothers and I hunted with my grandfather this was my gun, after he died it took me years to wrestle it out of the hands of family members and keep it from getting pawned. It came to me in rough shape. I would like it to have nice wood with a higher end style stock like a field grade 21 with a plain but functional checkering pattern and a beavertail fore end. If I gave a damn about resale value I shouldn't do half the things I talk about on this sight, I put enough money into two Penn 85s for the girls Christmas present to buy nice new reels that weren't USA made Penns. I have waited for some time to get the gun up and running, your work looks easily up to grade and I am willing to wait to give you the work. My and mine hopes and prayers on the success of your surgery.
