Interesting. I see how it works. Kinda like an AR roller clutch bearing with only one roller.

This pic is the 200 Underspin model from the same basic design & timeframe. It looks like you are missing the little stud that holds the end of the spring. You can see the natural metal on your 100 model where that post was/should be. The stud is also shown in the catalog description pic/drawing.

BTW, the 1966 Heddon Catalog states that the AR is roller lock and woks instantly.

I'd rather add a YTS kit to a 113h... with 4:1 gears!

Quote from: Gfish on Today at 12:43:45 AMSeems like one wouldn't really need a 500 size Jiggy. With the availability of braid, a 99 size or Maybe even a 501 size would be wide enough to hold alla line your gonna need.
Then again, I have an 808 extra wide, Randy/Tiburon Jiggy, so what do I know. 500yds of 65# braid...
I've never found "need" to be the right word to use when describing vintage penn mods. Unless I'm saying "I need to stop."

None of it is a need. All of it is a want. That's half the fun.

Nice! Spring on the East Coast. Still like Winter here. Surface water temp. 75 F(should be around 78 or so).
Way back at the beginning of your "Luck" thread, I suggested it was "skill". I think you can change it to that. Whata you 🤔?
